Last week, before the announcement that our PM of Jurong GRC MR LIM BOON HENG step down and will not be running for candidate next Election Term, I dreamt about him.
Seriously, I jumped out of my bed in a wake up morning call announcing: "Here is your MP Mr Lim Boon Heng". Strange it might sound, I swear my wife heard it. She had no reaction. (Perhaps she is used to my eccentric behavior.) My brother knew it and laughed his head off. Don't ask me what I was thinking? I had no slightest idea too.
He officially declared this status on 11th April 2011, and mentioned about wanting to spend his retirement doing what he loved best, getting in tune back with the green fingers. Afterall, he was a farmer before. Happy gardening in Seletar Hills MP, i miss you.๑_๑
Then at night, while I was lying around watching TV, another shocking incident. I saw Mr Lim Boon Heng giving speech on the news, (which was pretty normal) till he started weeping into tears,(which was abnormal and got me stunned! What happened?
So I dig out the replay of the video and watched once more.
So, our MP Mr Lim burst into tears 2 times in total,
first saying there is absence of‘groupthink’ with the monolithic PAP regime he seemed to imply his voice was not heard in parliament sometimes, using the casino issue he said he did not want it.
and secondly is where he mentioned he is very concerned about the lower income and what globalization especially in the NTUC Union.
This weeping episode create a lot of talking point in cyberspace so to speak, and I am one of them in the bandwagon.
Now, I personally feel that ..
what is stopping the parliament from passing Mr Lim's statement? That made him such a heartache? Maybe there is a greater plan, a bigger picture in place. But not necessary was known to him.
Likewise, same perspective, but on a different level, what is stopping Mr Lim when my parents and I approached him on one Meet the People Session some time ago and he wasn't very keen to help us. That results in heartache for our family instead needless to say. Same thing. Maybe there is a bigger picture. Untold. Kept from us. Maybe he doesn't feel good about it too? Maybe? we don't know. I am just casting some light here as a benefit of doubt to balance out the existing negativity that is in the cyberspace.

But as the time passes, her words doesn't seemed to match the actions. When she was first introduced,, chirping about new media and how she will connect the youths generation, I added her in my Facebook.

Now once again, because I took Communication Law way back then, and when I was a ex-banker, used to these tiny little terms & conditions, I'm engrossed to add this once again (to cover up my arse.)
